Kunst ist kein Erzeugnis oder Ereignis, das außerhalb individuellen Alltags und unabhängig von gesellschaftlicher Lebensrealität stattfindet. Jede Kunstform steht nicht nur in gedanklicher Beziehung zur Wirklichkeit, sie wird in der Auseinandersetzung mit Welt gebildet. Joseph Beuys brachte es mit seiner Forderung nach Vereinigung von Kunst und Leben auf den Punkt. Seit vor mehr als 40.000 Jahren Menschen die ersten Höhlenmalereien schufen, stellt das Erschaffen von Erscheinungsformen nach der Wirklichkeit mithilfe von Farben und Materialien ein grundlegendes menschliches Ausdrucksprinzip dar. Der kreative Prozess der Werkgenese ermöglicht einen anderen Zugang zu Dingen, die uns ansonsten womöglich verwehrt und damit im Verborgenen blieben. Die Ausstellung vereint eine Auswahl an Werken unterschiedlichster Medien von deutschen und internationalen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus der Sammlung Hildebrand, deren Befragung auf ihr spezifisches Verhältnis zur Welt eine besonders große Bandbreite an differenzierten Antworten liefern kann.

Wir laden Sie herzlich zur Ausstellungseröffnung am Mittwoch, den 29. Mai 2019 von 15 bis 20 Uhr in die G2 Kunsthalle ein.
